Ripplers,
A big thank you to all those who have supported “Who Gives A Crap” – the concept by two of the Ripple founders for non-profit toilet paper that supports water sanitation projects in the developing world!
Your support has put Who Gives A Crap in 1st place in the Unreasonable Institute’s search for the 25 best social enterprise ideas! If we win we get to go to the Unreasonable Institute in the USA for 10 weeks to develop the idea and make it happen!
Pledge your support here if you think toilet paper can change the world – or just like to see the Ripple guys with their pants down…

The ripple guerrilla marketing outposts keep spreading.
This photo is from a team of ripplers studying at Harvard University in the USA. Look closely for the ripple sticker! Around fifty of these stickers are distributed around the campus….

The Harvard-ripple team are also planning a poster run in the next few weeks.

Hey Ripplers,
Two of us ripple guys, Simon (the guy with the beard), and Jehan (the short guy) are Top 40 finalists in a global social entrepreneur pitching competition – check out the concept:
It has certainly got a ripple flavour, so we’d love you to pledge your support here: http://www.unreasonablefinalists.org/index.php?action=about_pro&proId=181

We’re constantly uplifted by the support that we get from members of the ripple community.
It comes in all sorts of ways, help with publicity and advertising, donations and sometimes just a kind word.
Today however we officially received the first poem written for and dedicated to ripple!
It definitely deserves a place on the blog:
Ripples
A poem by Shelly Araujo
Sending ripples into the world, What kind will they be today? Try an act of kindness, as you go on your way. Do the ripples matter? Does it really help to take this chance and step outside yourself? One small thing you do today becomes a greater thing, when down the road an aching soul finds a voice to sing. A simple kindness we extend, infinitely multiplies. Our ripples go forever and the power in you lies. For when your ripple reaches some unsuspecting soul, a new ring starts to warm the heart, Love radiates and grows. Just one small act of kindness, can change the world we see. And now you are the origin of infinite new dreams. So my prayer for us todayi s that we make a pact. For just today we’ll make a stand to start with one kind act. Send out your one small ripple, and watch it as it grows. And what will be when ripples collide, only heaven knows
Thanks Shelly!

Hey Ripplers,
We’d like you to check out a great Ripple ad put together completely by some keen Ripple volunteers – Amelia Birrell, Steve Murray, Georgie Langmead, and Olivia Thomas from RMIT in Melbourne, Australia.
These guys have put a lot of hard work and effort into shooting and editing a short video ad to help get the Ripple message out there. Guys we salute your efforts!
Also a big thanks to David Usher, a well known Canadian recording artist who gave permission to use his track “The River†in the video. David you rock.
Check the vision below and let us know what you think!
